According to the Indian Meterological department, parts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh will receive light to moderate rains by evening, around 5pm.
Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Kasganj (U.P.), Fatehabad (Haryana), the IMD said.
Meanwhile, northern Limit of southwest monsoon (NLM) passed through Barmer, Bhilwara, Dholpur, Aligarh, Meerut, Ambala and Amritsar on Wednesday.
The IMD has predicted widespread isolated rains in Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachala Pradesh, under the influence of strengthening of moist southwesterly winds. Starting June 25, the rains are likely to occur over next five days.
