The Indian Metrological department has predicted light to moderate rainfall in several portions of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura; accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning. The conditions are likely to prevail over the coming week, till Monday April 29. It is being caused by the cyclonic circulation which lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal.
Jharkhand, Sikkim, West Bengal and Odisha may witness isolated thunderstorm on Wednesday. Arunachal Pradesh may also face heavy rainfall on Wednesday and Saturday.
Jammu Kashmir, Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh may also witness widespread light to moderate rainfall/snowfall accompanied with thunderstorm over the weekend. The regions are likely to face heavy rainfall on Sunday and Monday.
