Exit polls for Bihar assembly elections had predicted a clear victory for young leader Tejashwi Yadav and Mahagathbandhan but early trends on Tuesday suggested that NDA may end up with maximum number seats in the state.
As per the Election Commission of India, early counting trends suggested BJP is leading on 72 seats of the 243 total. BJP led NDA was also faring well in trends till afternoon. With Tejashwi Yadav leading the Mahagathbandhan, his RJD is leading on 65 seats.
BJP led NDA is leading on 135 seats while Mahagathbandhan is leading on 103 seats.
All these are mere counting trends and do not represent victory in the polls.
