Akshay Mhatre, who plays a carefree boy facing his difficulties on his own and does not really reach out to anyone in the TV show Indiawaali Mom, has revealed he did not want his real life mother to watch the show’s promos.
“When I got this project, I did not tell my mom and directly made her watch the promo and the level of happiness, I saw on her face is million-dollar worthy for me as she could relate herself to Kaku and will go up to any extent for me and I dedicated my performance to my mother.”
“The whole concept of the show is something very close to my heart as the story spin around the mother love for his son and everyone relates it too. I was very happy when I got the opportunity to essay the role of Rohan in Indiawaali Maa, as the storyline is very much different from the usual ones on television and a lot of youngsters could relate to my role too.”
