Actor comedian Sunil Grover started with stand up a d soon created a niche space for himself in films. He has now ventured in music with his latest outing, the second season of his famous web series Sunflower on ZEE 5. He sung ‘Waada Mummy Ka’, a song featured in Sunflower S2, composed by Rohit Kulkarni. Shruti Pathak joined Sunil for the song.
Talking about the development, Grover said in a press statement: “I am not a singer, but Vikas sir wanted me to sing this one. We had tried with a good professional singer, but somehow it felt that Sonu should sing the song no matter how bad he is. I think it’s more than singing, it’s Sonu’s expression and his perspective of that song. I love singing, if you call it singing. The female version of the song is very good. I know I’m bad, but if I’m given an opportunity to sing, I will definitely sing.”
Helmed by Navin Gujral and backed by Reliance Entertainment and Cinergy in collaboration with A Good Co. Production, this 8-episode series premiered on ZEE5 on March 1st and has received rave reviews from fans worldwide.
