A young girl from Afghanistan is demanding her right to go to school in a country that saw the recent regime, Taliban, barring girls from schools. The video is now viral online.
“I am from a new generation, I was not born to just eat, sleep and stay at home. I want to go to school. If any girl in Afghanistan doesn’t get education, so how will our next generation be well-mannered. If we don’t get education, we will not have any value in this world”,” she said. Afghan journalist Bilal Sarwary shared it on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Taliban has allowed schools to reopen with strict gender-segregation. Only primary schools are allowed to have girl students.
