BJP MP Ravi Kishan had an emotional outburst in the Lok Sabha yesterday while urging the government to bring a law against people misusing power.
Specifying quite a few timws that he has a daughter, hinting that makes him more sensitive towards the issue, Ravi said a big filmmaker has been named in a case of sexual misconduct. While re did not take any names, Ravi was talking about Anurag Kashyap and allegations made against him by Payal Ghosh. Ravi also insisted that young girls, daring to dream big and venturing out of theie houses to work must be protected by a law that curtails anyone from misusing powe at workplaces .
Mr Kishan insisted twice that he meant all industries to be covered under the law, and not just the film industry. Watch his speech here:
