India has reported a fresh 86,508 covid 19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 58,18,570. Of the 92,290 covid 19 deaths till date, 1129 have been registered in the past 24 hours.
India currently has 970116 active case and Maharashtra continues to be on top with 1282963 cases till date and 34345 deaths due to covid 19. While Delhi has had 260623 confirmed covid 19 cases, the national capital has also seen 5123 deaths due to the virus.
Meanwhile, the government claimed to tested close to 15 lakh samples in a single day, taking the total number of tests close to seven crore.
World over, 32.1 million coronavirus cases have been reported and 982,000 died due to the virus.
