India observes highest jump in a day with 6,977 fresh cases in last 24 hours. Total count of people infectious due to COVID-19 reaches 138,845 out of which 57,720 patients are cured and discharged from the hospitals.
The number of active coronavirus cases is still observed at 77,103.
The recovery rate of India is highlighted by a senior official Health Ministry. The recovery rate is continuously improving in India stands at 41.57% which 41.84% all around the world. The total infection also includes foreigners.
India overtook Iran in infections and ranked 10th position. But the current fatality rate of India is 2.9% which is 6.3% worldwide. India is about to overtake Turkey in next four days as per the latest report based on the increasing rates of infectious people.
India is one of the 10 countries which are worst hit by coronavirus pandemic. Maharashtra witnesses the maximum number of cases by reporting 3041 infections which is the highest rise in last 24 days. And Maharashtra tops fatality rate in India followed by Gujarat. India’s death rate is the one of the lowest in the world.
The deadly virus infected about 5,502,512 worldwide. United States observed more than 1.6 million infections with approximately 1,00,00 deaths so far. Other than this, Brazil, Russia, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Turkey and India are the 10 most affected countries.
