Indian embassy issues advisory, urges Indians to leave Kyiv

In the advisory issued nby the Indian embassy in Kyiv, it said, “This is an urgent advisory to all Indian nationals in Kharkiv. For their own safety and security, they must leave Kharkiv immediately.”

“Repeat, immediately in the light of the deteriorating situation. They should proceed to Pesochin, Babaye and Bezlyudovka as soon as possible for their safety. Under all circumstances, they must reach these settlements by 1800 HRS Ukranian time today,” it added.

Meanwhile, an Indian man Abhay Kumar Singh, is in news for his defense of the Russian attack on Ukraine. Singh is a deputat, the Russian equivalent of an MLA. He hails from the western Russian city Kursk. He contested and won elections from Putin’s United Russia party.

Talking to the Hindi news channel Aaj Tak, Singh said this is not war but like ‘India’s surgical strike’ adding that Russia is only attacking military camps in Ukraine. “If the military enters a supermarket and then attacks Russian soldiers, then we will have to reply.”
