After being dismissed by a Mathura civil court, Shri Krishna Virajman files fresh petition for ownership of land

A petition has been filed in Mathura, claiming ownership of land in Mathura and remival of the Shahi Idgah in the region. Shri Krishna Virajman has been named as the petitioner in the petition filed before District Judge Mathura. Lawyers Harishankar Jain and Vishnu Jain have filed the case o behalf of Shri Krishna Virajman.

The petition challenged the dismissal of the suit by Mathura Civil Court seeking to reclaim ownership over entire 13.37 acres of Krishna Janmabhumi land & removal of Shahi Idgah Masjid.

District Judge Sadhna Rani Thakur has summoned the lower court records and fixed the next date of hearing as October 16.

The appeal said that Mathura civil court had dismissed the suit stating that the plaintiff being the devotees of Lord Krishna have no right to file the suit, however the appeal states that plaintiffs have asserted their right to religion guaranteed under Article 25.
