Delhi, NCR brace up for more heavy rainfall, Gurgaon continues to submerge in water logging

Even as people in Delhi, NCR and neighbouring regions struggle through daily lives amid bad cases of water logging, the Indian metereological department has predicted more heavy rainfalls over the coming days.

Thunderstorm with light to moderate rain would continue to occur over many places of Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater-Noida, Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Manesar, Sohna, Palwal, Hodal, Nuh, Farrukh Nagar, Bahadurgarh, Rewari, Bawal, Matanhail, Charki-Dadri, Jattari, Barsana and Deeg.

Light rain/Drizzle would continue to occur over few places of Delhi( south-west, south and east), Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater-Noida, Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Manesar, Sohna, Palwal, Hodal, Farrukh Nagar, Bahadurgarh, Rewari,Kosli, Bhiwadi, Kosli, Bhiwadi, Bawal, Barsana, Moradabad, Amroha, Nazibabad, Hissar, Hansi. Moderate rain over and nearby Agra, Tundla, Nuh, Chandpur in the second half, Thursday.

Thunderstorm with moderate to heavy intensity rain would occur over and nearby Etah, Agra, Bharatpur, Mathura, Hathras, Nazibadbad, Bijnaur. light rain/Drizzle would continue to occur over few places of Delhi(south and east),Noida, Greater-Noida, Ballabgarh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Manesar, Sohna, Palwal, Hodal, Barsana, Moradabad, Chandpur.

Thunderstorm with moderate to heavy intensity rain would occur over and nearby Roorkee, Saharanpur, Deoband, Moradabad, Narora, Kasganj, Khurja, Shikarpur, Debai, Atrauli, Pahasoo, Jahangirabad, Siyana, Aligarh, Khair, Bharatpur.

Thunderstorm with Moderate to heavy intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Bharatpur, Mathura, Agra, Hathras, Aligarh, Jattari, Khurja, Bulandshahar, Siyana, Hodal, Sohna, Palwal, Nuh, Faridabad, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziyabad, Meerut, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Roorkee, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Jhajjar & isolated places of Entire Delhi Thursday evening.

Traffic disruption on roads, slippery roads, water accumulation in low lying areas and underpass roads are likely results of the rainfalls.

We suggest Check for traffic congestion on your route before leaving for your destination. 2. Follow any traffic advisories that are issued in this regard. 3. Avoid going to areas that face water logging problem often.
