Of these, 2,280,566 cases have been cured while the country reported another record number of deaths – . A total of 56,706 people have died due to covid related problems till date. India currently has 707,668 active cases as per the government data.
Meanwhile, there have been 23.1 million cases reported world over and 803,000 deaths across the globe.
Delhi NCR status report
Delhi has reported 159,000 coronavirus cases while 9302 cases have been registered in Gurugram. Noida has had Delhi has reported 4270 deaths and Gurugram has had 124 deaths due to covid-related issues.
State-wise cases and deaths
Maharashtra has registered 657,000 cases and 21698 deaths till date. Andhra Pradesh has 335,000 cases and 3092 deaths while Tamil Nadu has reported 367,000 cases and 6340 deaths till date. A total of 56354 cases and 218 deaths have been registered in Kerala and Bihar has reported 117,000 cases and 498 deaths till date.
