The national capital of Delhi was on alarm as 37 of on-duty doctors were tested positive for coronavirus in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, after having been administered both the doses of the vaccine.
Reports suggest that the doctors were vaccinated with Covishield. Five of them are in the hospital while others are under home isolation.
Meanwhile, the surge in covid 19 cases forced the state govenment to impose night curfew from 10pm to 5am in Delhi. Delhi reported 5506 fresh cases over past 24 hours.
India’s daily new cases continue to rise. 1,26,789 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours.Maharashtra has reported the highest daily new cases at 59,907. It is followed by Chhattisgarh with 10,310 while Karnataka reported 6,976 new cases.
