Congress loses floor test in Puducherry, V Narayanasamy Resigns

The ruling Congress party lost the floor test in Puducherry on Monday, and chief minister V Narayanasamy resigned from his post.

After several leaders resigned from the ruling party over past few days, Mr Narayanasamy was asked to face a trust vote.

Responding to the developments, VCK’s Thol Thirumavalavan said, “Political parties must learn the lessons from the events unfolding in Puducherry. Sanatana forces will expand their actions in Puducherry to Tamil Nadu also, and what’s happening in Puducherry is a dress rehearsal for Tamil Nadu.”
