Chandrayaan 3 successful landing: India’s moonwalk with Pragyan rover

India walked on the moon as Pragyan rover rolled out of the Vikram lander soon after the successful landing of the Chandrayaan 3 on the moon Wednesday evening.

It is major victory and all the ISRO scientists deserve the celebrations and congratulations for the success. Their hard work and dedication made it possible. While many political leaders may laud themselves for the achievement, they are not responsible for it. If they green-lit the projects, those were the visionary steps the country expects them to take when the citizens elect them to power.

Successful Landing

Chandrayaan 3 completed a successful landing on the moon on August 23 as the entire nation cheered and celebrated the victory in space. A total of 70 million views was registered on the YouTube channel of ISRO when the landing was live-streamed. Apart from that, thousands others watched it on TV, and a few other platforms.

Chandrayaan 3

A follow-on mission to the previous Chandrayaan 2, Chandrayaan-3 aimed at demonstrating safe landing and roving on the lunar surface at the south pole. In early August, the Chandrayaan 3 – consisting of Vikram Lander and Pragyan Rover – was launched via LVM3 from Sriharikota. It has landed safely and successfully on the moon and the rover is now walking on the moon.
