Uttrakhand floods: Nainital, Ramgarh badly affected, at least 23 dead

At least 23 people have reportedly died after they were hit by the floods that followed cloudburst in various parts of Uttarakhand. A cloudburst was also reported in Ramgarh area of the Nainital district, early Tuesday.

The Nainital temple is also flooded and the bridge has been washed away as the lake overflew amid heavy rains.

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has urged people to avoid panic and assured that the government is trying to provide the best possible help to those affected.
