Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to the tragic hospital fire in Bhandara, Maharashtra. At least 10 infants died in a fire in a civil hopspital in Bhandara, Maharashtra recently.
He has also approved Rs. 50,000 to those seriously injured.
PM Modi had earlier said, “Heart-wrenching tragedy in Bhandara, Maharashtra, where we have lost precious young lives. My thoughts are with all the bereaved families. I hope the injured recover as early as possible.”
