Farmers nabbed a young man near Delhi borders where the farmers have been protesting for nearly two months. The farmers claimed that the young man was part of a plan to incite violence during the farmers’ tractor rally scheduled for Republic Day, January 26. However, in a viral video, the young man has now claimed his entire statement was scripted by someone and it was not the truth.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, the youth, with his face covered in black cloth, claimed that they had supply of arms and the plan was to stop the farmers’ march towards Delhi, slated for January 26. He even claimed that they planned to fire gun shots in order to stop the farmers.
In the new viral video, the man’s face can be seen as he said that he was reading a script given to him by them. This video is yet to be verified by cops .
Soon after the eleventh round of talks with representatives of farmer unions, agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that discussions have been going on for past two months. “The government has offered several proposals, respecting the protest, farmers and their unions. These proposals, however, never meant the farm laws were flawed, but to express sensitivity towards the protest and the protesting farmers.
Meanwhile, Kisan Ekta Morcha said on Friday, “The deadlock again arose in the meeting with the central government yesterday The government came with the proposal to suspend these laws for 18 months, while the farmers demanded the repeal of the laws. Let’s make the 26 jan tractor rally successful #26JanDelhiChalo.”
