Amit Shah pays tribute to CRPF personnel killed in Pulwama terror attacks in 2019

Home minister Amit Shah paid his tributes to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel killed in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack. He visited the Lethpora memorial in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir to pay respect to the 40 CRPF personnel.

“I wanted to spend time with the soldiers of the paramilitary forces, meet them, know their experiences and difficulties and see the spirit to work. That’s why we had lunch with our brave soldiers at Lethpora CRPF camp in Pulwama and will also take rest of the night with the soldiers in the camp.@crpfindia,” tweeted Amit Shah.

Shah also planted trees to mark the day of remembrance for the martyrs. During his visit, the minister also claimed that the incidents of stone-pelting in the valley have diminished.
