The first trailer of Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files is out. Produced by Zee Studios and I Am Buddha Production, the film is slated for a March 11 release. Anupam Kher Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Prakash Belavadi, Puneet Issar, and Darshan Kumaar play pivotal roles in the new film.
The Kashmirt Files is based on the true stories of the victims of the Kashmir genocide. The trailer gives a glimpse of the terror, confusion and sheer panic that consumed Kashmir at the time.
Talking about his film, Vivek Agnihotri, said in a press statement, “Bringing the story of Kashmir Genocide to the big screen is no easy feat and has to be handled with a great deal of sensitivity.”
“A movie is as good as its script and with The Kashmir Files the audience can feel and the emotions that the characters go through. As actors everyone on the team completely got under the skin of their characters and committed to telling this shocking and saddening story,” Pallavi Joshi added.
