Covid 19: India’s active caseload is 4,10,952; Haryana extends covid 19 restrictions till Aug 9

India has registered 19 41,831 fresh covid 19 cases in past 24 hours and the country’s active caseload currently stands at 4,10,952.

Corporate affairs ministry has issued a clarification, stating that expenditure over covid 19 vaccines, apart from employees and their families, will be considered under CSR activity.

Earlier in the day, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian had said that RT-PCR report will be mandatory for people coming from Kerala to Tamil Nadu. It will be applicable from August 5. 

Haryana has extended the covid 19 specific restrictions and guidelines for another week and these will now be in implementation till August 9.

With 39,258 patients recovered during last 24 hours, the recovery rate is currently at 97.36%. The weekly positivity rate is at 2.42% while daily positivity rate is at 2.34%. India’s testing capacity is substantially ramped up with 46.82 crore tests conducted.
