Rains expected to slow down in Delhi, neighboring regions; Rajasthan may receive heavy rainfall

Significant reduction in the current spell of intense rainfall activity over Central and adjoining plains of Northwest India (West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan) likely from 4th August, the Indian Metereological department said Tuesday morning.

Uttrakhand and western areas of Uttar Pradesh may witness isolated heavy falls over the next five days.

Punjab may also receive isolated light to moderate rain is likely. Isolated heavy falls likely over Haryana and Himachal Pradesh during next three days.

Reduced rainfall activity likely to continue over Peninsular India and adjoining east Central India, Maharashtra and Gujarat state during next 4-5 days.
