Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren announced Tuesday afternoon that the resuce operation on Trikut hills, Deoghar has been completed. died in the accident and were injured.
The CM said, “The rescue operation is almost complete and had been going on since the evening of 10th April and 2pm today. Nearly 48 people were stuck and unfortunately, we could only save 46. NDRF, Air Force and ITBP commandos saved the survivors and I’d like to thank them and everyone else who helped others in this situation. One of them spent the night stuck with a kid.”
A ropeway cars was dislodged partly from the cable, and collided with another one on Saturday. Neither cars fell but both were stuck.
