Delhi Police has nabbed four accused in Shahdra’s sexual assault case, the police said Thursday afternoon. Officials added that the complainant is being provided with all possible help.
A woman was attacked by a group of men in Shahadra, her hair was chopped off and clothes torn before she was paraded with a blackened face in the area. Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal shared a video of the incident and it showed the onlookers’ crowd, including women, clapping and hooting. The victim was allegedly gang-raped by illicit liquor sellers recently.
Cops have now assured that probe is on in the case and four people have been nabbed.
