Delhi, Haryana bring back masks: Rs 500 fine for no mask in national capital

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has announced that masks are compulsory in public places, once again after it noted the significant rise in covid 19 cases. A fine of Rs 500 will be levied for violation of the new rule.

Meanwhile, Haryana also reintroduced the mandatory mask rule in Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat and Jhajjar.

Earlier, Uttar Pradesh also brought back the rule in six districts including Noida aka Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Bulandshahr and Baghpat.
