Manoj Bajpayee will take a week’s off from his ongoing project to go to his hometown and attend rituals for the first death anniversary of his father. The film he was working on is directed by Apurva (Aspirant fame). His wife and daughter will also accompany him. Manoj Bajpayee’s father RK Bajpayee died at 83, last year in Delhi. Manoj will immediately resume his shoot to finish his project on time.
Manoj Bajpayee has recently finished an untitled film with Ram Reddy’s which also features Deepika Dobriyal. He has also completed RSVP’s Despatch. It is an investigative thriller set in the world of crime journalism and is directed by Kanu Behl.
Abhishek Chaubeys’s film which also has star cast like Konkana Sen, Sayaji Shinde, Naseer sir is also in the pipeline. He also has Fox Stars Studios,Chalkboard Entertainment, Autonomous Works film, Gulmohar directed by Rahul Chittella. The film also stars Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, and Amol Palekar along with Suraj Sharma (Life of Pi) and Simran Rishi Bagga in pivotal roles.
